Full Plate Living: Making Lifestyle Medicine Accessible
Two documentary films produced with Content With Purpose for the American College of Lifestyle Medicine's Project Remission series — telling the story of how everyday food choices can change the course of chronic disease.
How these films came together
Good Word Agency joined Project Remission as U.S. production partner — on the ground and behind the camera, telling the story of a program making lifestyle medicine simple, affordable, and within reach.
Content With Purpose is a UK-based, B Corp documentary studio that partners with mission-driven organizations to turn complex subjects into film. For “Project Remission” — a documentary series produced with the American College of Lifestyle Medicine — they set out to show how lifestyle medicine can prevent, treat, and even reverse type 2 diabetes. Ardmore Institute of Health, the foundation behind the free Full Plate Living program, joined the series as a content partner.
The films needed to make an evidence-based nutrition program feel human — capturing clinicians, program leaders, and the people whose health it changed, with the cinematic craft and credibility the subject deserved.
Content With Purpose brought Good Word Agency on as its U.S. production partner. We produced two documentary films — direction, cinematography, lighting, sound, and editorial — telling the story of Ardmore Institute of Health and its Full Plate Living program, featuring chief medical officer Dr. Jonathan Bonnet alongside clinicians and participants. Produced and directed by Jordan Laessig.
Released as part of Project Remission, the films give Ardmore Institute of Health a cinematic centerpiece for sharing Full Plate Living — and add an accessible, food-first story to a national conversation about reversing type 2 diabetes.
